It's so fucking hard to make a decent website and have it look awesome both on pc's and phones because your layout cant really be both extremely horizontal and extremely vertical at the same time and retain the original artistic idea.

I’m having similar anomalies with my 14900k. It works okay but the temps are out of control even with a Corsair H150i. Part of me thinks I’ll be abandoning 14th gen in a couple years at this rate.

How long will Intel stay in the GPU industry?
>>
>>100204607
as long as neccessary in enterprise, probably until 3rd gen minimum in consumer market.
>>
>>100204607
It depends on 1. how well they do at btfo-ing cuda, both consumer & enterprise,
2. whether the "we need to do something about cuda" management teams remain powerful enough in office politics, or
3. if it's successfully selling more xeons because at intel team xeon wins by default

Like when Intel was going around demoing their new accelerator cards to places like Facebook, even those demos got entirely taken over by the Xeon sales team who came along too.

The last time Intel tried a dGPU it ended up getting turned into a Xeon. Somehow.

I MISS REMOVABLE BATTERIes

Imagine the switch and steam deck with this shit. Bring 2-3 batteries with you and swap them out easily.

Portable tech is nearly useless without it. It felt more high tech 15 years ago when I could just swap batteries on all my devices.

Every post so far fails to mention the obvious fact when it comes to removable phone batteries:

It allows you to kill the power to your phone when you're not using it. They can't track you with GPS or cell towers and they can't activate your camera or microphone. Yes they can do all these things, even if your phone is simply switched off. Remove the battery and you remoce their ability to spy on you via your phone.
>>
>>100197252
>for a reason: optimization
Optimization of what? All the technical reasons got already debunked. They're not even cheaper to manufacture. Battery compartment is insignificant for a phone design.
The only thing a fixed battery "optimizes" is the time between getting a new phone

utter bullshit like the new ram standard proves. Its nearly always possible for consumer tech to be user serviceable there isn't any magic optimization involved.

What usually happens is I leave a thread that gets to 1500 posts up and a few that get to like 600 or 700 before archiving. Between ublock, greasemonkey, and like a single Youtube window, I end up getting to 7.5G actual, and the machine starts thrashing like a bitch.
Turning off the soundpost userscript helps.

The N100 is nearly identical in performance to an i5 4570, and with fast enough memory it’s decent enough on its own. It’s just the igpu holds it back heavily. Using one of the N100 desktop boards and adding a GPU, and in context of it being like a haswell quadcore, it’ll hold up with like a 6gb 1060 and play games well enough.
With the igpu though it’s very limiting in regards to its graphical capability. If you’re doing stuff mostly cpu bound, it’s a great choice. Otherwise nah.

In my country, lot of companies have this practice of gaslighting people they're about to get rid off not by firing or layoffing, but pretending that the worker need to hand their own resignation letter. This way, the company doesn't have to pay anything to the worker on their way out, including his latest salary.

What position are you interviewing for. Overall the resume looks pretty good, but its missing two things. Firstly, its missing actual numerical impact, For some of your things you mention making processes more efficient, try to quantize that to something like "10% more efficient saving 150k per year" or whatever. Helps to prove scale of impact and justify Sr title. Secondly, as a senior, I don't see any mention of you leading leading a team, or working with others, which is huge. Even if you delivered something with 2-3 other people working under you, those data points are really important.

The formatting is fine, if its worth anything most of the resumes that get to my inbox are visually similar.

infra is already a complex space where you can spend time learning stuff as it will keep evolving. instead of getting technical degree try writing a blog to track your learning, attend conferences to make connections as all tech jobs are acquired through referrals. Nothing can be guaranteed but your work experience matters a lot and you have a rather clear learning path once you are working in the field.
>>
