Yes because "well regulated militia" definitely refers to government regulation of the militia lol.

That's definitely what the revolutionary army wanted, to have their weapons regulated by King George. Yuros are such morons

Been trying to work around Cloudflare protection on one page I want to do some light scraping on, I had some success using SeleniumBase with UC mode active on my main Windows PC, but when I switched over to the raspberry pi I intend to use for the actual scraping the same code no longer works, I assume due to some kind of driver issue. Would anyone know of a workaround for this or am I going to be forced to use some kind of messy workaround like having the RPI route the request through my desktop through websockets or something while it's active (I don't want to leave it on 24/7, but due to the nature of what I'm doing it's not really a big deal even if it's only active for a few hours a day since it should be able to catch up in that time)
>>
>>100311684
Have you tried curl_cffi? You might not even need to use selenium kek
>>
>>100311769
I'll give that a look, thanks. Really all I care about is getting far enough to capture a valid cf_clearance cookie, then I should be good for a few hours just falling back to plain old requests until it expires. (Or it seemed to work that way in my testing earlier getting the cookie manually)
>>
>>100311789
If you need to get cf_clearance, then you could prob use capmonster to get past it if you have a disposable income to throw at the problem

For selenium on RPI, the problem could just be because it doesn't have a display. Try running in headless mode?
>>
>>100312203
Yeah oddly headless mode works fine on my desktop PC but isn't getting me anywhere on the RPI with the same code, I'm assuming because it's using a different chromedriver that's getting detected. (A bit of google searching found someone else who seemed to have a similar issue on the raspberry pi trying to do the same thing)

Install Gentoo. Or whatever flavor of *nix is best for the job or most comfy for you. Jellyfin/Emby/Plex to replace Netflix, Nextcloud to replace Googlel, Ampache/Navidrome to replace Spotify, the list goes on. Look at the awesome self-hosted list and ask.

New Proxmox user here.
I want to add another disk, either SATA or USB and create a VM to use as a file server. With the new disk being where the data/shares live.

Should I pass-through the disk to the VM, or should I add the disk to Proxmox itself, and then provision it as a virtual disk to the VM? Is one better or worse than the other?

I have a pretty great rig for gaming but I think I am finally going to try and break this addiction. How feasible is it to turn my rig into a home server? I'm planning to just main a laptop and use the home server for all my media needs alongside personal website hosting and possibly virtualization.

Every time I use it from my Linux computer I am confused when stuff just works. No custom x.org/xrandr config for my monitor? The SD card reader actually works? I don't need to config wine to run a game with glitches (if it runs at all)? Linux isn't good for desktop, it's designed to be a decent server controlled with SSH. Any "security" issues with it are non issues with a good router.

I'll bite for fun
I moved to linux for two reasons. The first reason is that I got fed up with stuff not working, being glitchy or being slow as hell. Idk what the fuck was wrong, tried "everything", to no avail. I was plagued by major problems like graphical artifacts, the file explorer moving files really slowly, bluetooth issues, the search in file explorer being really slow, some foss loading slowly, lag spikes, lack of responsiveness from the UI and programs sometimes freezing everything, forcing me to forcefully restart the computer. These issues wherent there at the start, but I guess they where introduced over time trough updates or something. Maybe these problems are fixed now (its been over a year since I switched to Linux), but I wont return anyways, thanks to Linux just working for some reason. And yes, I am still surprised how well Linux works, seems like it likes my machine.
The second reason is simply that Windows glows more than Linux. I'm not moving back because my current setup is comfy, but if I did, I would probably go for some modified win10 iot ltsc enterprise or whatever some schizos here are shilling.
>>

is it possible to use Linux or be a tech geek and NOT look and carry yourself like this? I think this is because I adversity played competitive sports in school as a kid all the way through high school and college.
